  Multi-cam recording bit rates

  Setting up for first multi-camera shoot. Using camcorders from 2 different manufacturers. Do I need to select the recording bit rate of each camcorder to be as similar as possible? I can select a setting of 1920 X 1080 60i with bit rates of 35 Mbps for the one camcorder and 24Mbps for the other. Camcorders do not have exactly same bit rates to choose from. How much of a difference if any does it make? And secondly, am I right to assume it’s not advisable to record 1 cam in interlaced and the other in progressive? Unfortunately final product will be delivered mostly on standard definition DVD.
