Hello there! I have a Multi cam question. I don’t edit multi cam often at all, so sorry if this is a silly question.

Please know I do understand how basic Multicam editing works and how to set up in FCP. I have looked at several online tutorials but no one answers this question that I could find.

I have 3 cameras. There is not matching TC so I am setting up my multi cam edit by in Points. I have about 12 different takes though. All as separate clips with non matching TC so I have matched up with an in point. How do I create one multi cam cut from this?

Do I need to create 12 different Multi cam sequences? That seems complicated, but perhaps that the way this is done? I am going to want to mix and match stuff from the 12 different takes, I just want to make sure I am doing this the correct way before I get too deep into it.

I would have one Time line but Several Multi cam sequences within? Im not sure if this makes sense.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

OK, I seem to have answered my own question.

Now I am having aproblem with markers. I went through all my Multiclips I made (13) and I made markers for the section I like and the best cuts. I spent 2 hours doing this. I went back and selected “Open” for the sync so I could change the audio source and then all my markers went away. ANy work around for this? Am I missing something?
