  • Multi-Cam – Can I see all the cams in the sequence?

Posted by John Vogel on August 2, 2016 at 4:12 am

    Hello All,

I have invoked “Multicam” for a music video. I get how Multicam works, followed the tutorials and understand how to choose cameras as needed.

I would like to look at all the cameras in the multicam sequence. Meaning, if I have cameras 1 through 6 in the multicam sequence, can I look at all 6 camera takes on top of each other?

    Thanks,

    M

[martin Imitt] “can I look at all 6 camera takes on top of each other?”

with 6 cameras you would set up a 3 X 3 grid, good for up to 9 cameras, in your multicam viewer. I work this way most of the time and it works fine.

    Thanks Herb,

I actually meant can I see the sequence with all my cameras, not up in the viewer where I can choose cameras 1 through 6. It there a way to view the six tracks at once just as if I had put it together the old fashioned way of syncing with my audio track.

    Thanks,

    m

Right click on the multicam timeline in the browser and choose “open in timeline.”
