    Hi,

    My system is macpro 2.66 (OS X 10.4.10), Kona-Lhe(version 4.0)
    Digi Beta Recorder (Sony A-500)

I have a question about the multi-audio channels editing with mac and digi-beta recorder.

I edited the 4ch Audio project on the FCP and recorded it on the A-500 Recorder with assemble mode of the edit to tape via SDI Out using KONA-Lhe.
And then, when I try to add the audio source on the 3rd or 4th audio channels on the tape at A-500 using audio effector,
    A-500 can’t find the mark-in point.
The wired thing is the tape with the TC setting has no problem to find the mark-in point, but the tape without the TC setting got this symptom.

We always re-edit on the 3rd and 4th audio channels after editing on the FCP. So, we should fix this problem.

Does anybody know how to resolve this problem?

    Thank you in advance.

Do you mean that you insert or assemble edit to the deck with Video and Audio 1 & 2 then do it all over again just for 3 & 4?

No, I mean I made 4ch audio by choosing the mono 4ch in FCP and assemble edit to deck this source. and we dub the audio on the 3rd or 4th audio channel.

    Thank you.

How are you capturing into FCP with four channels of audio, I can not figure it out?
