    I am trying to find out if there is a software that will take multiple feeds from a corresponding piece hardware and display them on the computer screen like a Multiple Video Monitor?

    If so;
    -would it adjust to the aspect ratio
    -would it have safe zones
    -I don’t know what to ask

    anything will help… thank you.

    if you own a Panasonic AV-HS400A, this switcher will take 8 sources, and display it on one DVI or VGA screen. Without hardware that will take in multiple sources, how do you expect a “software only” product to get these video feeds into your computer ?

    I didn’t think this could be done without hardware… I was curious to know if there is hardware that will send the signal to a comp. and have the monitoring station open up like an application that can be used simultaneously with other apps. if this is so I could do what ever I wanted with the feed.

    You probably would have better luck just using a multiplexer, there are many sources but all the big Brodacast guys, Sony, Panasonic, etc offer them in their security video divisions. Supercircuits sells some too.
