Much about deleting (Insanely Difficult) Easy Setups X.X
Yes I have already:
Trashed prefs, deleted the ones in the Application folder and global and user Library/Preferences, but they are still there.
Using FCP7 on OSX Snow Leopard.
Been reading dozens of posts about this online for the past 4 hours, it seems like it works for some if you trash the prefs but I have trashed and emptied my trash but the Easy Setups that I do not want are still there.
Have I missed anything?
While on this topic, I was wondering if anyone ever requested a feature in FCP to simply have a delete/edit button on the East Setups dialog? would be great for a $1000 piece of software (I’m pretty sure people have).

What Easy Setups are you not wanting? If they are the default ones that are a part of the software, why on earth do you want to mess with the base code of the software? If they are ones that come with third party IO devices….just uninstall those third party IO drivers

I meant the ones I created, not the defaults.

In the Applications folder, right below Final Cut Pro, I have a folder called FINAL CUT PRO ADDITIONAL EASY SETUPS. Do you have that? Might the ones you made be in there, and you can simply trash them?
