msvcr71.dll
Hi,
I was having problems with “…failed to return a video frame” and got the solution. I went to Adobe downloads and downloaded the latest version of the MPEG encoding files for Adobe Media Encoder for Premier Pro 1.0. I then tried to export my project. I immediately received the following message:
This application failed to start because msvcr71.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Because I didn’t have that problem before installing the download, I went to the second solution and Installed the Windows XP KB886716 update from Microsoft. I again tried to export my project. I immediately received the same message.
Why would the .dll file disappear after downloading the latest version of the MPEG encoding files?
Is the solution for getting that file back to reinstall the original version of Adobe Premier Pro?
If I do that, won’t all the downloads disappear and I would have the same problem of failing to return a video frame?
In short, how do I fix this problem?
