MSI Star USB 3.0/SATA6 and Intensity Shuttle compatibility?
The official website states the Intensity Shuttle is compatible with the ASUS US36 PCI USB 3.0 card. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the MSI Star-USB3/SATA6 card is compatible as well? It’s a 4x PCI 1.0 card using a NEC USB 3.0 controller, so I do believe it’s very similar to the ASUS US36 in terms of specifications. The regular MSI Star USB 3.0 card without the SATA ports is only a x1 PCI 1.0 card, so I’m guessing that one won’t work since it doesn’t have the bandwidth. That said I can’t find any information about whether or not the x4 version is compatible with the Intensity Shuttle.

It is a big no no. I tried that and wasted time installing and removing. I tried the ASUS and got it right.
