mpg to FCP – only video
hey guys, i have mpg file which i imported to fcp but i get only the video, and i need the sopund to . so i was wondering why is that and what should i do about it ?

I second this program.
Chances are the mpeg file you’ve got came from a DVD or something similar. DVDs “mux” mpeg tracks by combining the audio and video into one stream. Most programs don’t know what to make of this kind of file and just read it like a plain video file.
