MPEG2 Rendering on Mac

November 12, 2005 at 10:50 pmi wouldn’t. your best bet is to render lossless and have ‘Compressor’ do it for you. It uses VBR so you’ll get the best image for the best data rate.

Why do you want to use MPEG2 out of After Effects?
As Chris says, there’s a probably a much better way but it depends on your end needsbogiesan.

November 13, 2005 at 5:10 amI had a quick job to run out onto DVD. Rather than render out, then convert to MPEG, I was hoping to go straight to MPEG.
It was a time issue.
