January 3, 2012 at 6:36 pmThe breakup starts at the beginning of the render in Vegas now and continues.
I shall try to render in DVDA and see how that goes. The project was originally created in Vegas 10, but I can’t move it from Vegas 11 to ten, right?
If that doesn’t work any other options you can think of?
Thanks.Windows Version:7 64-bit

January 3, 2012 at 7:19 pmTry rendering it out as a DV-AVI file and then use that to do your MPEG-2/AC-3 encode.
If that still doesn’t work, open up a copy of Pro 10 with this project open, do a copy/paste from 11 to 10 (track-based FX will NOT get copied), save it under a new name and try rendering again.
Are you using the latest beta drivers for your video card?

January 10, 2012 at 5:48 pmDid the cut and paste thing as suggested.
From Vegas 11 to 10.
Had to rebuild all the track FX as you warned.
Also last week downloaded Beta driver for video card.
That may have been the issue as test renders to both .avi and mpeg2 went OK.
Still not fully confident in 11 though.
In recent project an event appeared where is wasn’t supposed to be sans audio.
Also there were small gaps between events that I had to manually close.
I will stay with Vegas Pro 10 for now.
Once bitten,….
Using Vegas since Sonic Foundry days, anbody jumping to something else. FCPX, Avid, Premier Pro?
Is it just me or are others growing increasingly insecure with this NLE?Windows Version:7 64-bit
