April 3, 2005 at 8:50 pmVCD or SVCD seems to be what they’re asking for. If you give them MPEG2 on a DVD and they try to play it on a VCD-capable, non-DVD-equipped PC, it ain’t gonna work.
Most of the VCDs I’ve done are MPEG1, lowest common denominator.

By definition, VCD is MPEG-1 (SVCD is MPEG-2).
