I can’t seem to find a way around mpg’ing to put my production onto a DVD. I tried an .avi, but it looks crappy. The encoder still isn’t cooperating to let me make an mpg of the project. As I said before, I’ve dowloaded the recommended updates but it has only made things worse. Is there another application I should look at to fix this? Adobe has been no help even though this problem is all over their forums. No one seems to have an answer. I just want this, in it’s original quality, on a DVD!!
    HELP!

    Maybe this helps

I work in PremPro and always render out (make movie) a lossless .avi (Do not Recompress)

I then use (one of two) Ulead applcations to create any DVD I need.

I think the apps are called:

Ulead DVD 2 & Ulead Movie Factory 3 (something like that anyway)

Both do the job fine and are simple to use.

Using the encoders from PremPro offer too many options and are too complicated for me and my purposes.

Also: I use PremPro to produce an uncompressed .avi even if making QT or other compressed format / codecs which I do with QuickTime Pro.

Thanks Craig. I’m all set. I owe you a beer if you ever come to The Bahamas.
