    As some of you have noticed the ProRes codec is
    showing up on the codec list in mpegstream clip as
    ProRes and ProRes (stacked)

    I have found after testing that the topmost ProRes is HQ
    and the ProRes on bottom is non-hq.

    FYI if it helps anyone.

    Thanks, that’s good to know. I assumed they were the same codec, just a different setting on the quality slider.

    Thanks Borjis,

    I’ve been using mpeg streamclip for ages and couldn’t work out why i was getting different results each time !
    I’m loath to learn whole new work flows so this is helping me stay with FCP for my DSLR and HDV-on-compact flash shoots. Many thanks.
