  Mpeg Streamclip Issue with added hidden number in .mov extension

  First, I’m not sure if this is in the right forum but this seemed appropriate.

  For some reason when I transcode MP4s to .MOV APPLE XDCAM 50 1920×1080 it creates extra hidden numbers after the .MOV extension.

  For example, I just exported one of these files and it seemed fine in finder. I copied it onto our server to be ingested into Fork Production Client but random numbers were added after the extension. (.MOV199)

  I’m not sure if this is an issue that only involves our production client and server or MPEG Streamclip.

  Have any of you dealt with this issue in any other situations?
