I have CS4 with adobe premiere pro. A client gave me a video with the file format MPEG 4. I do not have any more information, dimensions or anything, except for that it was shot on a flip cam (I don’t know what camera).

Is the a certain sequence preset to select so that I could edit this footage with a proper scale. Or is there a way to figure out what the original dimensions are?

    Thanks.

    Hi Andrew,

If you import the footage in Premiere, you will see all the properties you need in the project panel, and more by right clicking > Properties.

From there, create a new square pixel desktop sequence matching those settings.
