Hi, I’m looking to encode generic mp4s (mpeg-4 video/aac audio), rather than mp4s with AVC video which is output by both the Sony and MainConcept encoders in vegas. Does anyone know of a way to do this other than using a third-party application? My company heavily uses Vegas to batch tons of files, and I need the mp4 encoding to fit within a batch encoding scheme.

It seems possible to develop an encoding engine that shows up under the “Render As” options, as I’ve seen this done w/ debugmode’s FrameServer.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
