MPEG-2 video and audio permanently linked?
I brought an MPEG-2 .MPG file (with self-contained audio and video) into Vegas. Even when I toggle ‘Ignore Event Grouping’ or flat-out remove them from being a group, it doesn’t seem to want to let me slide the audio and video independent of each other. Is this typical of muxxed MPEG-2 files for some reason?

Not able to repro this here…when you select audio, choose the “U” key, you can’t slide audio separate from video?
