Are there optimum settings for a 2-pass VBR MPEG2 export? I am trying to achieve a good balance between file size and quality. I have had some pretty good results so far but I was just wondering what the definitive rules were?

    Thanks,

    Matt

I always check to make sure my minimum bitrate is 2500. Sometimes, VBR on black or dark area videos produces too low bitrate that “pixelates”

    Hope that helps…

    Use a bit rate calculator.
