MPEG-2 (MP@ML) encoder apps
need to port 4 widescreen videos created in AE to MPEG-2 (MP@ML) format for AV playback via CompactFlash on a DVM-7400 Digital Video Player. go here for info on this gizmo: https://www.alcorn.com/library/manuals/man_dvm7400.pdf
my questions are:
what Mac software apps encode to this format?
does anyone have experience delivering content for the DVM-7400?thx.

You’ll need to test if you can but Apple compressor, DVD studio pro, Episode and MPEG Streamclip could all produce possibly compliant files.
What apps do you have and know how to use?

i have Compressor 3.0.2 and DVDSP 4.2.1.
just downloaded MPEG Streamclip and it keeps crashing each time i import a .m2v file 🙁i’ll try Compressor.

Compressor worked. just created a new MPEG-2 preset using Program Stream selection and upped the bit rate.
