Ok, I’m exporting a sequence that’s in NTSC DV to PAL via compressor using an MPEG-2 encoder. When I made this last week, it gave me 2 files: (.m2v and .m2t). My client in Spain got the file and said the .m2v worked. So when I went to make it again, for whatever reason, it now ONLY makes .m2t. I understand that by including MPEG-1 layered audio in the .m2v creates this .m2t file, but where did the .m2v file go? When I made an .m2v file WITHOUT the audio, the picture is jumping quite a bit (I know I had good quality settings the first time when it didn’t bounce, and now it does! WTF?
    note: using compressor v. 2.3.1 in FCP v. 5.1.4

    thanks

Hope you figured out the problem you had, not sure on that one, sorry.
I’m having a problem trying to export a FCP sequence using compressor to save as an MPEG-2
The video exports nicely but with no audio.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Keith.
