mpeg 2 import in premier
i’ve been trying to import mpeg2 format videos in premier but i am having trouble with the output of the project as it’s coming jerky.can’t i import mpeg2 format in premier?plz give me reasons why this is happening.

Premiere does not support Mpeg editing without the MainConcept Mpeg plug-in.

thanx for ur reply.btw i have adobe mpeg encoder installed in my system with premiere,and i can import mpeg files in premiere project but thing is that when ever i render that mpeg clip i get the jerky output.is there anything to do with the frame rate or bit rate of the clip?please reply
