MPEG 2 from FCP 5
Can you export MPEG 2 files using Quicktime, or Quictime Pro, from FCP5. Or do you have to use compressor? My friend said that he could export MPEG 2 using QT Pro but it was on an earlier version of FCP. I have FCP5 but not QT PRO. Do I need to upgrade to QT Pro get this capability? Does anyone know?

Have you read your manual? QT Pro is automatically installed with FCP 5. Go read the manual and/or do a quick search on exporting MPEG 2 from FCP. There are a couples of ways to do it.
