Does anyone know if I can automate the process of importing an Mpeg2 files to Final Cut Pro to add a time code window burn and export them back out as Mpeg2 files.
I have thousands of hours that need to be done.

If they have audio they need to be converted to QT before importing into FCP, so probably not.

You can not export MPG2 files directly from FC. You can do it from Compressor. But the kind of MPG2 that you can make in Compressor do not support TC.
