    Hi,

I am being asked to compress to these specs:

    HD video
    ID : 224 (0xE0)
    Format : MPEG Video
    Format version : Version 2
    Profile/Level : Main@High
    Format Parameters, BVOP : Yes
    Format Parameters, Matrix : default
    Format_Settings_GOP : M=3, N=12
    Bit rate type : Constant
    Bit rate : 77,8 Mb/s
    Nominal flow : 80,0 Mb/s
    Width : 1 920 pixels
    Height : 1 080 pixels
    Format à l’écran : 16/9
    FPS : 25,000 fps
    video format : PAL
    Resolution : 8 bits
    Colorimetry : 4:2:0
    Frame Type : Interlaced
Field Order : Top Field First

My problem is that Compressor 4 only allows 40 Mb/s maximum in MPEG 2.

I have a copy of Sorenson so I’ll try that but failing that, anybody has a suggestion as to how to achieve such a rate with MPEG 2 and with what software ?

    Thanks

    Patrice

    Hiya,

I’m just passing, but I notice with Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5 (Mac) you can encode an MPEG2 at maximum 80Mb/s

    Cheers

Thanks for the info. Turns out Episode can do this too apparently.

    Hello Patrice.

I have to make a file with exactly the same settings – could you do with media encoder all those settings? Half of them I don’t find to change…
