MP4’s from Vegas won’t work in iTunes

They are 4:3 SD VHS transfers to MP4
The client is all Mac and I have no clue about any of there specs.

I used the 4:3 template in the Main concept for this specific set of renders.
He has also had issues with using the Apple settings, and I know that they use 30p and 24p on some of there templates.
I don’t use iTunes for numerous reasons, however I do use Quicktime and Quicktime Pro on all my PC’s and the videos play fine on that

Then you need to ask them because it’s extremely important in order for you to figure this out.

I’m telling you that MainConcept AVC rendered from Vegas Pro 13.0 using the “Apple …” templates play perfectly fine on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan with iTunes 12. So you need to find out what’s wrong with your client’s Mac setup. How old is it?

Did you try the Apple iPod 640×480 Video template? That should work fine. I’m playing these rendered videos on my Mac with iTunes right now and they work.
