    Using Adobe Media encoder 5.5, we have converted a bunch of DV AVI files into h.264 MP4 files using the Apple iPod preset.

    Using HTML 5, we could get the videos to play via Safari under iOS 5 on a iPhone or iPad.

    Since updating to iOS 6, the videos no longer play.

    Did something change with video compatibility with iOS?

    Fields. A preset with lower field dominance was the culprit. Progressive videos play fine
