I currently a canon xa10 which shoots in AVCHD only and I also have a canon xa25 which can shoot in both AVCHD and MP4. I’m looking to buy a second canon xa25 to replace my xa10. If I had two xa25s would there an advantage for filming multi cam at MP4 vs AVCHD? I’ve had some issues with color correcting with AVCHD and had to transcode. Would this no longer exist with MP4?

    Thanks

MP4 is a different container. The codec is the same, there wouldn’t be any differences unless the MP4 option gives you choices of higher bitrates, which, on the XA25, it does not.
