I have a video file I’m just trying to make smaller for email. The format I received it in is mpg.

Movie inspector via QuickTimePro says it’s:
    MPEG1 Muxed

It plays fine but when I try to export, share or even import into After Effects the audio doesn’t play.

All I have at my disposal is:
    After Effects 6.5
    DVD Studio Pro 4
    QuickTimePro
    Compressor

    Flash CS3

Out of that, can I save it to any format that will retain the sound track?

    Thanks
