mp4 compressor setting for daytime Emmys?
Hello,
Trying to satisfy these conditions in a Compressor setting:
Video
Codec H.264
640×480 (4×3) / 640×360 (16×9) square pixel
Decomb or deinterlaceAudio
AAC audio 96Kbps CBRContainer
mp4 container .mp4
1Mbps bitrate total
Web OptimizedBut my file keeps getting rejected. Tried an MP4 setting but they don’t like that. It’s for a submission to the daytime Emmys.. they are not giving me a lot of info about what the problem is. Any suggestions? Even better does anyone have a compressor setting they’d like to share that they have used for an upload to daytime Emmy submissions?

When it’s rejected, what does the rejection say? Is this an emailed rejection, or are you uploading it to a website and getting rejected?
The settings they give you are pretty basic and easy to follow. I would request a reason for the rejection, as you could spend many many hours tweaking settings blindly.

They said they would get back to me with the detail but nothing yet.
Would you use the mp4 setting as a basis (what I tried) or a quicktime / h264 setting if it was you?

It’s a crapshoot.
However, I wouldn’t waste time – I’d call them and get a spec sheet…but that’s me.
