  MP4 Compressor result mis-colored

  I’m working on filmed videos with a lot of white background. In FCP7 I turn up the highlights to get an ultimate digital white. All hints of color or gray in the BG are gone. The problem is when I export in Compressor to mp4 .H264 some of the color is back. The work-around is if I render out the timeline to a Prores codec (which looks great) and convert that to a mp4. I mean it’s not a bad of an idea to have a higher quality version around, but can anyone tell me what is going on with Compressor?
