    Hi All,

I have been compressing to MP4 in AME from full 1080p source MOV videos. I’ve been compressing a batch, and for some reason 2 out of the 25 or so videos keep coming out shaky. The videos are of talking heads and the best way I can describe the shakiness is it looks like the presenters are convulsing.

I’m about to re-export the MOVs and re-compress from that. Hopefully that will solve the issue, but if anyone’s encountered this before please let me know how you solved the problem.

Hey, so if anyone else ends up with a similar issue, what worked for me is setting the “Field Order” parameter to “None (Progressive).” It had originally been set to “Lower.” Since the source was shot in progressive the MP4 was getting confused looking for two separate rows of pixels when there was only one. At least that’s the explanation I got from a much more experienced colleague.
