    Hi

I’ve been on the Apple Discussion group with this question but decided to post here as well in the hope someone here can offer something else.

I’m using MP4 AVC/H.264 Clips (not AVCHD) from a Sanyo Xacti 1010 in FCP 6. I imported the the MP4 file into Streamclip AIC Uncompressed Audio QT Mov file. Then into FCP 6.0.2.

I’ve done this before added some transistions and created DVD’s with no problem. However this was a music video and in my ending credits I wanted to get a little creative. Well as soon as I added any kind of keyframe composits or opacity and tried to render it I would get a General Error Msg. If I took out all keyframes, it rendered fine.

Has anyone ever ahd this experience with these kinds of clips?

Could I have imported using a different method other than AIC.

So apparently even these types of clips aren’t officially suppoted, as long as I don’t get creative, I can use them. I didn’t try it in FCE. But I am working on this 1 segment in Vegas on my PC and so far it’s working fine.

I’d just rather be using FCP.

    Thanks
    Allen
