We have a mac pro tower (Xeon model) 12 core desktop with 32GB of RAM.
We’re using Adobe CS6 and sometimes multiprocessing is turned off while rendering something, it’s completely at random.

If multiprocessing is turned off, why in the world are we using a mac pro tower with just one core being used?!

Anyone run into this issue? Any solutions please…
Oh and we’re using OS X 10.8 and we had the same issues with OS X 10.7 too

It shouldn’t be completely at random.

See this page on Memory and Storage [link] for a list of circumstances in which AE must disable multiprocessing.
