mov’s into after effects
i got some .MOV effects and I would like to put them into after effects, but when I import the file, it says this type is not allowed. I have tried converting the file to an avi, and got a similar error. what is wrong?

Usual questions on this one:
Mac or Windows (presuming windows based on the .avi)
What codec are the QT files? Where did they come from – camera source, or exported from an edit program?
