Moving up to HD
I’m running a MacPro 2 x 2.66 dual core Intel, w 8gigs of ram & FCS 2 . It’s time
for a new HD camcorder . I’ve read a lot of good reviews about Panasonics TM700
but have some questions that this forum might be able to answer. The TM700
can record full HD 1080/60P, very impressive untill you want to edit in FCP6.
I’ve read that someone has used “ClipWrap” to rewrap to a quicktime file, I suppose FCP would like to see a Pro Res file.Does anyone have a good experience with ClipWrap ?
I’ve read this camera records 1080/24P , but in the small fine
print it says that 24P is converted & recorded as 60i , I’m a little confused, what gives ?
My last question, I need to do a little more research but this camera records to SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards, but I don’t see what class card they are looking for, no sence paying more if it’s not needed ?I know it’s a lot to ask,
thanls in advance
