Moving through hole
Posted by Ben Hartley on August 13, 2013 at 3:35 pmI need to work out how to move the camera through this circle to view the images within as if looking through a keyhole but within the floating shape.
Any suggestions?!
Thanks

August 13, 2013 at 4:39 pmI would place the circle and white wall on say 0 Z position. Then make the image on say 300 Z position. Move the camera through the hole to see all of the image behind.

August 14, 2013 at 9:03 amok cool. But what if i want the background/wall to be stationary and not moving with the circle or atleast moving so it looks like it is in the background and not where the circle is?

August 14, 2013 at 6:44 pmIf you want the background to not move make it a 2D layer instead of 3D. Then create a Black square with the shape tool, then add a white circle to the same shape. Make them the same Z space as the Circle with the hole. Place the shape layer above the clip that peaks through the hole. Change the Track Matte of the clip to Luma Matte. Then you will see the clip inside the circle. HOpe this helps and best of luck.
