    Hello all,

Hoping someone might be able to help me with some expert AE advise…

I’m working on a 30 second animation for a corporate client. It has to be 30 seconds on the noise, but I’m coming out at just over.

I’m watching the edit through and there are points I could nick out a second here or there, but I have no idea how to do that other than re-jigging every layer.

Is there a simple, easy way of cutting out time that will shuffle down all the layers without me having to individually move each layer?

I’m sure it must be easy, but I can’t work it out. Any help would be really appreciated!!

Oh and I’m working on cs6.

    Thanks so much,
    Zoë

You precomp the entire timeline, then just use “shift+cntl+d” to split your layers, cut out/delete what you don’t need.
