RIGHT AWAY: I don’t believe this is a field-order or interlace vs. progressive settings problem.

THE SETUP: There’s a still-image-graphic that moves from the left to right side of the screen over a three second period.

THE UNDESIRED SYMPTOM: When rendered [and/or exported as a QT DV movie] the image appears horribly interlaced. The perception is that there are two copies of the image, overlayed.

You can see a sample at this URL: https://www.drake.org/LD/movies/motiontest.html

Notice that the words at the right side of the guitar neck vibrate and the fret dots appear doubled and the face is just not clear and distinct.

THE QUESTION: How should graphics be handled to minimize this undesired effect? Note: I have already tried many permutations of FIELD DOMINANCE settings, etc.

Thanks VERY much for any insights or suggestions.
