Moving reflection
I made a volume meter. No trouble so far. But… I want to add reflection like Andrew Cramer did in his https://library.creativecow.net/articles/kramer_andrew/reflections.php. The point is that the feather only appears when the reflecting meters reach a certain point in the comp screen. I guess the solution lies in expressions. But how to use them in this case? Of am I completely wrong?

Parenting is something that should also work for your needs. And no scripting involved. I’ve not taken a hard look at Andrew’s tutorial but I did something similar for one of my products a couple of years ago. The trick is to Parent the reflection layer’s matte layer (Ramp) to the reflection. It will also help that the matte layer (created with Ramp) is large enough for your moves without being cutoff from the Comp panel.
