When I slide the video track to the right to insert a title at the start the voice track moves with it. However, the music track stays stationery and I keep losing a tight combined effect of flash and music which stays where it was. How can I make all three tracks, and perhaps more move together?

The voice track is locked to the video track, hence it moves with the video track. To move all the tracks, press and hold the “CTRL” button while selecting all the tracks you want to move.

You can also “Group” tracks by selecting them all while holding the “CTRL” key and once all are selected, press the “g” key to group them together. That way, if you move one, all the grouped tracks will move accordingly

One option is to turn on Ripple Editing – it works in a variety of ways including “all tracks”. Personally, I use the “Select Events” tool in Excalibur which lets me control what is selected to be moved. If everything from that point forward is to be moved, you can also try Insert – Time.
