Moving multiple clips at once
Hi, I’m working on Premiere 6.5.
I had two projects I had to merge. In the second part i needed to delete a section at the beggining. Then I imported the first part and inserted the timeline at the beggining, but I now have a huge gap between the two parts. I’ve been searching for hours on, help, internet, and by trial and errors and I still can’t figure out how to move all my clips back to make it fit to the other part. Thanks!

Use the track select tool or the multi-track select tool.
Another way to do it, though I don’t remember if this is in 6.5 or only in Premiere Pro, is to right-click on the empty space and choose Ripple Delete.

Press ‘M’ on your keyboard. Just like Timothy said, this will activate the multi-track select and help you drag the video to close the gap.
You might want to change your view so you can see the entire gap and by using the multi track select can drag it in one piece. Dragging and waiting is just a pain. I can’t recall a ripple Delete in 6.5.
