    Hi,
The scene is a blast going off near a shop. I created the blast in particle illusion. In AE 6.5 I took a static boat and masked the blast behind it, since the origin of the blast doesnt look good. Now the problem is I need to set off another blast behind a moving ship. So once again I masked the ship, but as the ship moves the mask remains static. How can I link the ship mask to the moving ship so that the blast keeps coming behind the ship. ???

    please help…(anyone)

Animate the mask shape or use the masked layer as a matte on the original layer and animate its position and rotation.
