moving markers without post edit ripple
How do you move the markers with your clip up or down the timeline?
I know if i’m deleating something, that i could use post edit ripple with markers to close up the gap between the clips and move the markers but I’m not deleating anything……I just want to move the clip and markers. How would I do that? Thank you very much……..Gary -

Same way – just use ripple just like you had deleted something.

Thanks Ed, I tried that several ways and couldn’t get it to work/move. One of the ways i tried it was just right clicking the clip and choosing post edit ripple with markers and it didn’t move. I had the cursor where i wanted it to go…..could you give me a little more info on that. thanks, Gary

Turn on ripple editing set to move “everything”.
Move the clip to the new location.
Done.
