Activity Forums VEGAS Pro moving light beam on Logos and Texts

    I would do it with Generated Media Color Gradient making a thin white line with very soft edges, animating it with keyframes, and using the track composite levels (perhaps screen mode) to blend it with the original footage.

    I have tested that approach, but the light beam lights all the screen and not only the text or the logo to be highlighted.

    You can duplicate the text or logo above the light beam and use it as a mask. Add the Mask Generator to the duplicate logo to make it a black and white mask (or in the case of the text it may already be white). This will restrict the beam to just the text or logo.
