Sometimes selected keyframes just won’t move if I try to drag them along with the mouse, only nudging them forwards or backwards with the keyboard works. Other times they move without problem. There does not seem to any regularity in that. It drives me nuts. What is it? any idea?

Another related thing: if I change the duration of a layer in the timeline, can I somehow make all keyframes change with it automatically or do I always have to select them as well?

Thanks so much for your help!

If you mean move them relative to the original layer’s keyframes you can either make them roving keyframes then reposition them or select all of them and alt/option drag the first or last keyframe into its new position.
