    Hi Bovines.

I’mm looking at moving to HD in the near future. We shoot HDV, and have down-converted for the last 12 months. I’m lloking for a harware solution to go with ppro.

1./ Currently we cut native DV. What HW can output this to SD SDI from the timeline without rendering, with TC etc?

2./ Has anybody got any “Real World” experience with HDV editing in Premiere.

3./ Anybody here using PPRO for HD production? What are your experiences? Limitations, etc?

    Thanks

    Brett

Check out the Axio line of cards.

Yes. Is there anything specific you are looking for?

I use the Axio setup very limitedly, but I am VERY happy with the performance.

You want SDI because you output to a format other than HDV? Then AXIO is a good place to start looking. If you will be going out to HDV tape then the 1394 connection will produce the best results with the least fuss.

    Thanks

Yes, I need to output SD SDI for our current production, whilst moving onto HD for future projects. We can’t just leap into HD unfortunately.
