Moving FEC to Red
Posted by Peter Tours on August 29, 2010 at 9:03 pmCan anyone walk me thru the process of copying my FEC AE filters into Red 4? I don’t even remember where the folders are, it’s been so long since I did this. Thanks in advance!

August 30, 2010 at 11:25 amHi Peter,
After you install into AE, copy the FEC filters that end with “X.Bundle” into this folder:
HD/Library/Application Support/BorisFX/BorisPlugins
The filters should then operate as expected in RED – if they don’t please let me know and I’ll sort that out for you.
Cheers,
Peter.

August 30, 2010 at 2:56 pmSorry about that Peter.
Assuming that you used the FEC 5 product installer and installed into CS4, the files that you need to copy should be here:
HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS4/MediaCore/Final Effects Complete 5.0/
Please let me know if this helps.
Cheers,
Peter.
