Can anyone tell me why most of the time when I use the arrow tool to move a clip in the timeline I can see the clip while I am moving it. But lately I cant see some clips while they are being moved. Makes it hard to move it where I want it.

    Using latest FCP

Can’t tell from your description what’s happening on your computer, but you might start by trashing your preferences.

    All the best,

Thanks. I will try that. It’s hard to describe. Normally when I pick up a clip and move it in the timeline I can see a shadow of the clip moving witht the arrow, but on some clips there is no “shadow” so I end up just guessing where I am moving it.
