So let’s say I have 5 hours of footage, and I razor it up and delete a bunch, and now I am left with 100 clips spanning from the beginning to the 5 hour mark. Is there a fast way to have them moved to the left, or do I have to manually drag each clip across?

    Hi Tom,

My method is to simply not leave all the gaps to begin with. When I delete a clip, I use “Ripple Delete” which removes the clip and closes the gap, in one step. Or use In/Out/Extract to remove a portion of a clip. Or use the Ripple edit. I use the CTRL key when trimming heads and tails of clips and this auto-ripples the trims.

    Thanks

I like that method, thanks. It makes the work 10x faster.
